Brainerd Airport ARRF/SRE

The Airport Rescue and Firefighting & Snow Removal Equipment (ARFF/ SRE) facility was constructed as part of the 20-year Airport Master Plan. The pre-cast building was strategically placed at the intersection of two commercial runways to decrease recue response times and support the increasing size of passenger jets. Including both the ARFF & SRE into the facility allows the airport to streamline operations and maximize efficiency, by having all equipment and operational staff under one roof.
